Clifford R. Repperger, Jr.

EXPERIENCE:

Cliff joined GrayRobinson in May 2005 and became a Shareholder in September 2007. Cliff has dedicated a large portion of his practice to local government and public law and currently serves as General Counsel to the Barefoot Bay Recreation District, Brevard County Supervisor of Elections, and Brevard County Contractor's Licensing Board.

While attending the University of Miami, Cliff served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and was awarded the University of Miami Alumni Association Student Leader Award for his efforts. During his time at the University of Miami, Cliff also served as Law Clerk for the City of Cape Coral, a position he held for two years. After law school, Cliff was promoted to Assistant City Attorney and served the City of Cape Coral for an additional two years.

In 1998, family considerations brought Cliff to Brevard County. During a brief but intensive tenure at the State Attorney's Office, Cliff gained valuable litigation experience prosecuting crimes as an Assistant State Attorney.

From 1999 to 2005, Cliff served as Assistant County Attorney for the Board of County Commissioners of Brevard County. During this period, Cliff provided representation to a wide range of County departments in everything from ordinance and contract drafting to litigation and administrative proceedings. As an Assistant County Attorney, Cliff not only built upon his knowledge of local government law, but also placed a major emphasis on building positive working relationships and forging teamwork between board members, county staff, and their legal advisors. His efforts were recognized with a number of merit awards. In August 2002, Cliff was awarded Brevard County's Exceptional Cooperation Award for outstanding achievements in cooperative efforts. In April 2005, Cliff was awarded Brevard County's Pulling Together Award for outstanding achievements in teamwork.

BACKGROUND:

Cliff graduated from Cape Coral High School in 1988 and attended the University of Florida where he graduated with a major in Advertising and an outside concentration in Psychology. Cliff received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1996.

Cliff is married and has a son and a daughter.
