MIAMI, FL – April 3, 2014 – The National Diversity Council has selected Marlene Quintana, a shareholder at GrayRobinson P.A., as one of the recipients of a "2014 Florida Most Powerful and Influential Woman Award." This award honors female executives who continuously display the professional excellence necessary to thrive in their field. Quintana accepted her award alongside the other honorees during the Florida Diversity and Leadership Conference held April 3, 2014.
With over 17 years of legal experience, Quintana has sustained a record of impressive accomplishments by providing strategic direction and legal counsel on a range of labor and employment law matters for both private and public sector employers. She is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law, a certified civil mediator and former Chair of the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. In addition to Quintana’s professional contributions, she continues to garner accolades honoring her commitment to growth and diversity in the South Florida community. Quintana was recognized for her numerous involvements when she was voted Hispanic Woman of Distinction by the South Florida community in 2010 and in 2013 she was recognized with the "Power of One" Mentoring Award for her efforts in establishing the Cuban American Bar Association‘s Mentoring Program.
