Britton Moderates Internet & Technology Summit 2009 (8/25/09)

Brent Britton, Chair of GrayRobinson's Emerging Business and Technology Practice Group, recently moderated the Internet & Technology Summit 2009 held in Tampa August 25, 2009.

Recently named as one of "Tampa Bay's 100 Most Influential Business Leaders" by Tampa Bay CEO Magazine, Britton emceed the conference that catered to business executives, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, investors and marketers interested in advancing their competitive edge with web-based strategies.

Presentations ranged from exploring social networks, internet marketing, and branding to web applications, interactive media and augmented reality.

Britton has experience as outside intellectual property counsel for Wikipedia, software licensing for AOL, and the startup of numerous businesses. A former software engineer, he is the only graduate of the MIT Media Lab to become an attorney. He maintains a blog and co-hosts the CEO Lounge, a weekly podcast and radio show on Talk Radio AM 860 WGUL, on which he interviews the CEOs, entrepreneurs, scientists, and innovators from Tampa Bay and around the world.
