Britton Answers Copyright and Trademark Question as Guest in Online Twitter Chat (8/26/09)

Brent Britton, Chair of GrayRobinson's Emerging Business and Technology Practice Group, recently participated in a "tweetchat" August 26, 2009 that dissected common issues with website trademarks and copyrights.

With his vast experience in law, particularly intellectual property strategy and prosecution, licensing and technology transactions, Internet-related law, and virtual reality law, Britton fielded questions and offered information regarding typical problems faced by small businesses struggling to maintain an online presence.

Britton has experience as outside intellectual property counsel for Wikipedia, software licensing for AOL, and the startup of numerous businesses. A former software engineer, he is the only graduate of the MIT Media Lab to become an attorney. He maintains a blog and co-hosts the CEO Lounge, a weekly podcast and radio show on Talk Radio AM 860 WGUL, on which he interviews the CEOs, entrepreneurs, scientists, and innovators from Tampa Bay and around the world.
