Delahunty Re-Elected to Second Term on NAIOP National Board of Directors

ORLANDO, Fla. (November 10, 2009) -- Terence J. "Terry" Delahunty Jr., LEED AP, a shareholder in the Orlando office of GrayRobinson, P.A., was recently elected to serve a second term on the national board of directors for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Delahunty, who is also the immediate past-president of NAIOP's Central Florida chapter, the chair of its Green Committee, and president of NAIOP of Florida's Political Action Committee, will serve his second term from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2012.

"It has been an honor to be involved with NAIOP and to be a part of its mission to support the commercial real estate industry, and to provide information and education on this important aspect of the country's business community. In addition, as an Accredited Professional of the United States Green Building Council, I look forward to assisting our members in understanding the increasingly important issues of green/sustainable development."

NAIOP serves as a networking and educational organization for developers, owners, and other professionals in all areas of real estate development. The Central Florida chapter of NAIOP serves Central Florida communities in the areas of education, housing, and other legislative matters. Chapter leaders pride themselves in the organization's role as a forum for discussion of all commercial real estate matters.

At GrayRobinson, Delahunty is a member of the firm's real estate practice. Delahunty focuses in the areas of land use and development, commercial real estate transactions, sustainable development, title insurance and mortgage financing. He has extensive experience in public and private land use matters, and has also represented several regional and national financial institutions. In addition to NAIOP, Delahunty is a member of The Florida Bar's Environmental and Land Use and Business Law Sections. Additionally, he is a member of ICSC and serves as a board member of Corenet.
