GrayRobinson Retained by Florida Prepaid College Board and Florida Prepaid College Foundation

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (November 11, 2009) -- GrayRobinson has been selected as outside counsel to the Florida Prepaid College Board and as both outside counsel and government relations representative to the Florida Prepaid College Foundation. GrayRobinson was selected by the Florida Prepaid College Board and the Florida Prepaid College Foundation through an RFP process over 10 competitors.

GrayRobinson will be responsible for counseling the Board and Foundation regarding matters relating to the prepaid plan and the investment plan; compliance with federal tax law, federal and Florida securities law, Florida's public ethics law; the fiduciary responsibilities of the Board; administrative and civil litigation; and other areas of the law. The firm will represent the Foundation before the Florida Legislature and the Florida executive branch agencies. Peter Antonacci will lead the firm's legal team, and Jason Unger will lead the firm's government relations team.
