Kellie Caggiano is board certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar and is a key member of the GrayRobinson construction team, concentrating on a comprehensive range of liability defense matters. With over two decades of experience, she excels in defending contractors, subcontractors, developers, architects, engineers, and other professionals in complex construction litigation cases throughout the state of Florida. Her focus areas include construction defect litigation, professional liability, wrongful death defense, and personal injury defense for construction entities. Kellie also handles transactional matters, including drafting construction contracts, resolving construction liens, and assisting with contract issues.

Kellie has significant trial experience in commercial and construction litigation. She handles litigation in federal and state courts throughout Florida.  In recent years, Kellie has been instrumental in changing Florida’s statute of repose through trial level and appellate victories.

Kellie’s proficiency shines in high-stakes cases, where she regularly handles claims exceeding $10 million, achieving a proven track record of success from case inception through trial. As a seasoned litigator, she is also committed to continuing education, frequently leading seminars on risk transfer and allocation, changes to the statutes of limitations and repose in Florida, litigation strategies in construction law, Florida Statute 558, settlement pitfalls, claims handling, and preservation of appellate issues at trial.
