Lauren Voke Attorney At Law

Lauren is an associate in the Miami office and a member of the firm’s nationwide alcohol beverage department. Prior to becoming an associate, Lauren was a law clerk supporting the nationwide alcohol beverage department where she developed an understanding of the three-tier alcohol beverage system, tied-house issues, trade practice compliance, and federal and state alcohol licensing. Her practice as an associate involves providing counsel on alcohol licensing and general regulatory compliance with a focus on complex matters concerning alcohol, tobacco, food, marijuana and CBD, and gambling and sports betting activities. Lauren served as inside corporate counsel for REEF Technology, Inc., a real estate platform that converts parking lots into services such as restaurants, markets, and technology hubs.  Lauren supported the food and procurement operations of REEF through contract review and negotiation, expanding her contract practice to SaaS, licensing, lobbying, and non-disclosure agreements. Lauren’s unique experience with in-house and private practice gives her a strong background in drafting contracts related to advertising, distribution, sales and related issues associated with the food and beverage industry.

Lauren started her legal career as a law clerk at Kopelowitz Ostrow, P.A., in Fort Lauderdale where she focused on civil litigation concerning tort claims, constitutional rights, and various other commercial disputes on both state and federal levels. Lauren then worked as a Legal Intern for Corporate Services at Del Monte Fresh Produce in Miami. She developed a broad array of experience in both transactional and corporate matters such as intellectual property and trademarks, employment law, national and international compliance, data security and privacy, and contract review.

• Background

  Lauren has lived all around the country and internationally prior to moving to Florida in 2017. She was born in Dallas before spending time in London, Atlanta, Chicago, and Salt Lake City. Lauren obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama where she frequented both the Dean’s List and the President’s List. While at UA, Lauren served in various leadership positions within the Student Government Association and Alabama Panhellenic Association where she was able to focus on student governance, recruitment and diversity inclusion. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, Lauren served as a law school ambassador and was a re-occurring member of the Dean’s List. In her free time, Lauren enjoys traveling, watching college football, and is a self-proclaimed food critic. Roll Tide!
