Steven is the Managing Shareholder of GrayRobinson's Miami Office and Chair of the firm's Bankruptcy Section. He has more than 25 years of experience in business insolvencies, including bankruptcy, receiverships, dissolutions, assignments for the benefit of creditors and liquidations. Among others, he has represented debtors, creditors, trustees, receivers, assignees, liquidating officers, and other appointed fiduciaries. Steven regularly represents parties in connection with liquidations, distressed asset sales, preference and fraudulent transfer actions, fiduciary litigation as well as other litigation arising out of or related to troubled businesses, including matters related to corporate governance. Prior to practicing law, Steven practiced accounting in the tax department of Arthur Andersen LLP. After earning his law degree, Steven joined Arthur Andersen LLP as a Senior Director of Corporate Recovery Services providing financial and restructuring advisory services to troubled companies, debtors-in-possession, and Official Committees of Unsecured Creditors. Steven brings his added experience in accounting and financial restructuring consulting to his clients.
