Lisa is member of the securities practice group and focuses on corporate, partnership and limited liability company matters, including formation and governance, purchases and sales, reorganizations, and federal and state tax planning. Lisa also has experience obtaining private letter rulings from the Internal Revenue Service and handling federal and state tax controversy matters at both the administrative and trial court levels.

  • Background

    Lisa is a native of the Pacific Northwest. She earned undergraduate degrees in German and International Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1989 and spent a year studying history and art history at the Universität Regensburg in Regensburg, Germany. Prior to attending and while at the University of Colorado, Lisa was a competitive snow skier. After graduating from college, Lisa worked as a financial consultant in Madras, India, and as a financial software tester with Microsofort Lisa obtained her law degree from Georgetown University in 1993 and her master of laws in taxation from the University of Florida in 1994. Also in 1994, Lisa joined the federal income tax group of a large Pacific Northwest/Intermountain law firm, where she focused on corporate and partnership tax issues, tax litigation, and executive compensation planning. Lisa joined GrayRobinson in 1998.
