GrayRobinson and the Central Florida Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) today held “How to Effectively Work with Public Entities” CLE presentation and networking in Orlando, Fla., featuring guest speakers and GrayRobinson Attorneys Scott Cole and Candace Brascomb. Cole and Brascomb outlined best practices to help navigate challenges faced when working with public entities, including operating within Florida’s Sunshine Law, becoming an “accidental governmental contractor,” navigating intellectual property rights in sponsored research agreements, and understanding and dealing with public sector culture.
