Orlando, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced 20-year legal and financial services executive, Gretchen Lyn Koehler, has joined the firm as its chief marketing officer. Under GrayRobinson President and CEO Dean Cannon, Koehler will serve as a member of the firm’s administrative leadership team and oversee client development and marketing operations.
“Gretchen’s depth of experience leading marketing and client development efforts at several major law and financial firms, coupled with her Juris Doctor and entrepreneurial spirit, is the ideal combination as we advance our firm’s client development strategies,” said Cannon.
Located in the firm’s Miami office, Koehler hails from New York where she spent the last two decades entrenched in the legal and financial services industries, including 11 years serving in leadership positions, roles with global responsibilities, and as an entrepreneur.

Before joining GrayRobinson, Koehler was the founder of Executelligence LLC, delivering strategic leadership consulting, executive coaching, and professional development training to executives and professionals at professional services firms. Prior to that, she served as the CMO, North America for Omni Bridgeway. In this role, she was responsible for leading the marketing and client orientation strategy and activities for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America on behalf of the publicly-listed asset management firm.
Prior to that, Koehler led business development and marketing for Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP and Kenyon & Kenyon LLP (now merged with Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP). She began her career as an attorney at White & Case LLP before transitioning into practice development, and then becoming a marketing manager at Dechert LLP.
Koehler holds a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and is a certified professional coach.
