June 24, 2024

MIAMI, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced Karim Batista has joined its Litigation Section as a shareholder. Based in the Miami office, Batista focuses his practice on marital and family law.

"Karim Batista is joining us as a shareholder with expertise in family law matters and will be transitioning his solo practice clients to GR," said GrayRobinson Miami Managing Shareholder Steven Solomon. "Karim has an excellent reputation before the family law bench. He is energetic, approachable, and extremely likable. No doubt, Karim will quickly integrate into the GR family and will be a valuable new resource for our clients and referral sources."

Batista has been a trusted advisor for clients navigating marital and family concerns for more than a decade. With a compassionate yet skillful approach, Batista assists clients in navigating complex issues, such as divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division. His litigation practice focuses primarily on financial aspects, with niche experience representing athletes in family and matrimonial matters. Batista is also a certified mediator and uses his skill as an intermediary to help clients achieve points of solidarity throughout what can often be a contentious experience.

Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Batista established and successfully managed a private law firm focused on family law, immigration law, and property settlements. Additionally, he served as an adjunct professor for nearly five years at Florida International University (FIU) College of Law. Batista received his Juris Doctor from FIU and his Bachelor of Arts and Science from Florida State University.
