GrayRobinson Bolsters 6 Practices and 5 Offices with 7 New Associates

ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce it has broadened its legal capabilities with seven new associate attorneys across six practices and five offices. The new attorneys include Christina R. Epperson, Andres “Andy” Garcia, Samuel A. Hanna II, Amy Hogue, Maria Lozonschi, Victoria Miller, and Eliza Sweeney.

Christina R. Epperson, Real Estate and Land Use, Orlando

Epperson is an associate attorney based in the Orlando office, focusing on local government, real estate, and land use.

During law school, Epperson served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rodney Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and as a research assistant for Constitutional and Property Law. She was also an inaugural fellow of Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law’s Economic Justice Clinic, where she provided transactional legal services to underserved businesses and individuals throughout Orlando.

Epperson was a member of GrayRobinson’s 2022 Class of Summer Associates and has worked as a law clerk for the firm since then. She received her Juris Doctor from FAMU College of Law and Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Andres “Andy” Garcia, Labor and Employment, Miami

Garcia is an associate attorney based in the Miami office, centering on advising and defending employers across many sectors involving a wide range of state and federal labor and employment laws. This includes defending against employment discrimination and retaliation claims, litigating complex contractual matters and commercial disputes, assisting in collective bargaining negotiations, and defending clients against whistleblower, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims.

Garcia was a member of GrayRobinson’s 2023 Class of Summer Associates and worked as a law clerk in the firm’s Gainesville office. Before GrayRobinson, Garcia acquired workers’ compensation defense and commercial litigation experience while working at a firm in South Miami.

He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida (UF) Levin College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Florida International University. He is admitted to practice in Florida before the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts. Garcia is actively involved with The Florida Bar, American Bar Association, Cuban American Bar Association, and Hispanic National Bar Association.

Samuel A. Hanna II, Intellectual Property, Tampa

Hanna is an associate attorney based in the Tampa office, focusing on patent and trademark prosecution and licensing.

During law school, Hanna gained a strong research background, extending to fundamental constitutional issues, such as freedom of speech, the free exercise of religion, and the right to bear arms. He also acquired technical insight from his undergraduate work as a physicist in the field of biomedical optics.

Hanna was a member of GrayRobinson’s 2023 Class of Summer Associates and has worked as a law clerk for the firm. Hanna received his Juris Doctor from the UF Levin College of Law and Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Rollins College. He is admitted to practice in Florida state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Amy Hogue, Private Client Services, Gainesville

Hogue is an associate attorney based in the Gainesville office, focusing on estate planning, retirement planning, elder law, and trusts.

Hogue was a member of GrayRobinson’s 2023 Class of Summer Associates and has worked as a law clerk for the firm. Prior to GrayRobinson, Hogue worked for over a decade in real estate, including six years as a licensed Florida Realtor and six years as a property manager for a private property investor. During this tenure, she gained a foundational understanding of property law, including handling lease agreements, tenant relations, and market analyses.

Hogue received her Juris Doctor from UF Levin College of Law, earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications Management from Missouri State University, and holds a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is actively involved in the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, Gerald T. Bennett American Inn of Court, North Central Florida Estate Planning Council, and the Women’s Giving Circle.

Maria Lozonschi, Regulated Products, Tampa

Lozonschi is an associate attorney based in the Tampa office, focusing on alcohol beverage law and other regulated industries.

Lozonschi was a law clerk for GrayRobinson in 2023. She also worked for a nonprofit organization supporting survivors of trauma and human trafficking. In this role, Lozonschi gained experience researching legal environments in Myanmar and Ukraine, examining the mental health needs of trafficking survivors, and analyzing access to quality employment in Uganda based on International Labour Organization (ILO) standards. Additionally, Lozonschi served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Julie S. Sneed, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Lozonschi earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of California-Irvine. She is admitted to practice in Florida, is actively involved with the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and is fluent in Romanian.

Victoria Miller, Private Client Services, Melbourne

Miller is an associate attorney in the Melbourne office, focusing on elder law and wealth transfer strategies for individuals and families. She guides clients through options for long-term care and Medicaid planning, recognizing the personal sensitives involved and fostering clarity at every stage.

Miller joined GrayRobinson in 2024 as a paralegal. Prior to GrayRobinson, Miller served as the press and communications secretary and deputy field director for New York State Senator Phil Boyle, where she conducted research and drafted reports on economic development and social justice. At the outset of her law school career, Miller was a general editor for the Harvard Journal on International Law and U.S. Foreign Policy.

Miller earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is actively involved with The Florida Bar.

Eliza Sweeney, Litigation, Orlando

Sweeney is an associate attorney in the Orlando office, focusing on eminent domain and land use law.

Eliza joined GrayRobinson in 2024 as a law clerk. Before GrayRobinson, Sweeney gained experience assisting with depositions, drafting motions, and conducting in-depth case research as a summer associate and intern at law firms in Orlando.

Sweeney received her Juris Doctor from UF Levin College of Law and Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Legal Studies from Clemson University.
