GrayRobinson Melbourne Managing Shareholder Erik Shuman Appointed to Director Emeritus for Community Foundation for Brevard

GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Private Client Services Section Chair and Melbourne Managing Shareholder Erik Shuman has been appointed to director emeritus for the Community Foundation for Brevard.

Erik actively served on the Community Foundation Board from 1998 to 2010 and again from 2013 to 2014, including a term as chair of the Board. His longstanding ambassadorship and advocacy have made an enduring impact on the Foundation, leading to the Board’s unanimous decision to give him the director emeritus distinction. Erik has significantly contributed to the Foundation's mission of encouraging, supporting, and facilitating philanthropy in Brevard County. His leadership and commitment have been instrumental in advancing the Foundation's efforts to enhance the quality of life in the community.

For nearly 30 years, Erik has been counseling individuals and families with estate planning needs, working with clients to develop appropriate strategies and help alleviate the anxiety that can accompany end-of-life, long-term care, and special needs planning. His practice covers all aspects of estate planning and the effective management and transfer of wealth for high-net-worth private clients.

The Community Foundation for Brevard serves as a leader, catalyst, and trusted resource for philanthropic individuals and organizations to expand, enhance, and sustain Brevard’s quality of life. With the vision and leadership of its volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation continues to grow its impact in the region and beyond.
