GrayRobinson is pleased to share Labor and Employment Section Chair Marlene Quintana and Shareholder Deborah La Fleur presented today during the 25th Labor and Employment Law Annual Update and Certification Review in Tampa, Fla.
Marlene, as a program chair, delivered the introductory remarks to kick off the event. Marlene is board-certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar and represents private and public sector employers in both labor and employment law matters. Marlene has litigated and advised clients in federal civil rights issues and other federal and state employment matters. Marlene also has experience defending clients in federal and state court cases arising under the First and Fourteenth Amendments and 42 U.S.C. Section 1983.
Deborah's presentation focused on the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act. She provided an insightful overview of this critical federal law while outlining the key provisions for employers. Deborah is board-certified in Labor and Employment Law by The Florida Bar and represents private and public sector employers in both labor and employment law matters. She represents employers in federal and state courts and in front of governmental agencies in connection with all employment-related matters.
The 25th Labor and Employment Law Annual Update and Certification Review is a two-day program that serves as both an update for labor and employment practitioners and a preparation course for attorneys taking the Labor and Employment certification exam.
