Client Development Manager

GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 15 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening for a Client Development Manager based in our Orlando or Miami offices. The Client Development Manager reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. 

The position is responsible for implementing effective business development plans which are aligned with Firm goals. The successful candidate will also assist with various aspects of client development, including gathering input from attorneys and other information sources, drafting qualifications and client value propositions, preparing pitches, RFP responses, and award submissions, as well as coaching attorneys on client development strategies. This position is best suited to candidates with a strong ability to act as strategic advisors to firm stakeholders.

The Client Development Manager will identify existing client relationships that provide potential for cross-office and cross-practice growth. The proven ability to collaborate and develop comprehensive plans is required for this position. It is expected that the Manager stay apprised of current legal industry trends and client development opportunities through proactive market and competitive research.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of progressive experience working in a law firm, excellent written presentation, and interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational skills, and strong multi-tasking, project management, critical-thinking and prioritization abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM and advanced PDF software required. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and those with a juris doctor and client development experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
